Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During these COVID-19 times. I have decided to keep my fitness up and start running. This has now turned into a little bit of an obsession, I am now training for half marathons and have entered the Great North Run in September. This will be my first 13.1 mile race and I thought why not do this for a great cause. Dogs are very close to my heart particularly Labradors of which I have one. He is a 2 year old called Marley and is my best mate.

I have also recently lost my father who was a massive labrador lover and this charity run will also be ran for him as well.

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
