This year 3 of my relations have been diagnosed with Cancer. My Mum being the closest of these. Mum is being treated by the Royal Marsden at Chelsea, so that seems the obvious choice when I decided I'd like to do something positive and fun, whilst raising money towards helping care for and treat those unfortunate to have been diagnosed with cancer. I'm already a regular blood donor which is also a very valuable tool in the treatment of cancer.

Please be aware I am paying the full entry fee of £99 out of my own pocket, not the reduced entry fee which is topped up by the charity. I dislike the idea of sponsoring people when part of my sponsorship money goes indirectly to paying for their 'jolly', so I don't expect you to either. All of your money will go directly to The Royal Marsden.

As the proud parent of 2 very young kids, and a shift worker to boot, my sleep is very valuable to me so riding through the night when I should be sleeping is also quite a sacrifice!
