Story
Hi there
I'm honoured to be selected to participate in this years construction industry cycling challenge for Action Medical Research. So I'm upgrading the bike, investing in chamois cream and training as much as I can!
This is the leading UK charity dedicated to funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies, children and young people. Action has been funding medical breakthroughs for 70 years now and has helped to beat polio, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy. The charity is now driving forward children's research, including in the fight against COVID-19 and rare diseases. Our 6th Annual cycling networking tour Ziggurat will see around 70 riders cycle over 300 miles from London to Compiègne mixing a traditional battlefield tour with roads familiar to fans of the Spring Classics. By donating money for this incredible charity, you are helping find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases. With your help we're determined to make a real change to children's lives.
