Fundraising for Brain Tumour Research
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
The next event is to support Wear a Hat Day - we have quite a bit going on! First off, the awesome Yarnbombers of Titchfield are supporting us by getting a wonderful array of hat themed knits on display throughout the village, so if you have liked what you see there then please consider donating here to show your support.
Then nearere Wear a Hat Day itself, we have Charioke at Broad Oak Social Club in Portsmouth on the 27th March so if you want in, please donate £4 per person and leave 'Charioke' in comments
Please donate what you can, every single £1 goes direct to the charity.
Thank you!
So why am I doing this fundraising, and why for Brain Tumour Research? It is not until someone close to you is diagnosed with a Brain Tumour that you truly realise what a devastating form of cancer this is - Brain Tumours kill more people under 40 than any other form of cancer - yet Brain Tumour Research receives less than 1% of all cancer research funds.I want to make a difference to the future of Brain Tumour Research - and £2740 is the difference I want to make. Why £2740? This is what it takes to run a dedicated research centre - for just one day.We have now raised enough to fund 14 days on here - and we absolutely want to keep going.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. So please dig deep and donate now
