Story
As part of my midlife crisis, I’m taking part in “the toughest footrace on Earth”, by running a brutal-as-hell multi-stage jaunt across the Sahara Desert. Seven days of running, over 250 kms (156 miles), across endless sand dunes, rocky jebels and white-hot salt plains. This is fully self-supported, so I’ll be carrying everything I need to survive for the week on my back (all food and equipment, except water).
Temperatures will range from 50C in the middle of the day to zero at night. The longest day is a double-marathon.
I'm doing it for charity - to raise money for underprivileged children, to help feed, house and educate them.
So please dig deep for the Jack Price Project (feeding and teaching underprivileged kids in Bali).
