Simon's double ultra challenge

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support.
I am running two ultras in June 2021 in memory of an amazing man Iain Boath, who we lost on 19th March 2018 aged only 58 yrs old to a heart attack.
I am running in the North 55k (34 mile) ultra on 5th June starting and finishing on the Derwenthaugh Park Gateshead running around the Tyne Valley.
Then I am running the Race to the Castle 100k (62 mile) ultra on 26th June from Kirkharle, Morpeth to Bamburgh Castle via the Northumberland Coastal Path.
**This event was postponed in 2020 due to Covid **
Iain was a very fit person who cycled a lot and kept himself in great shape and was a very popular person, he was married to Wendy and they had 3 children and Matilda their grand daughter.
I knew Iain for many years whilst we worked for Northumbria Police then then NUFC where he was the Security Coordinator.
Iain unfortunately suffered a heart attack after cycling home from work and he has been missed terribly by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Every penny I manage to raise will to towards a wonderful charity to help reduce the numbers of people dying too young with research, support and prevention of heart problems.
This is my way of remembering my friend and colleague Iain Boath.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
