Not sure how it happened but on 21st May, along with my sister-in-law Pippa Keeling Smith and neice Charlotte Harrison, I will be walking a marathon along the Kennet and Avon Canal to raise funds for the RUH Forever Friends appeal.

Yes, that’s 26.2 miles! And all in memory of Mum and the support and care the RUH gave her after she moved to Wiltshire. 

Like all NHS providers, they continue to deliver a remarkable service under extremely challenging circumstances, so I hope to raise at least £150 by way of a thank you. 

Although I am a regular walker, I have never been further than 16 miles, so your support and encouragement is greatly appreciated. Thank you x
