Story
I was luck enough to get into the London Marathon on a ballet this year. I am keen to take the opportunity to raise a little money for the children liver disease foundation.
This charity is personal to me because they have been able to provide useful and timely support and advice to people born with biliary atresia a condition my niece suffers from.
She was lucky enough to receive timely surgery. A surgery called Kasai procedure (also known as a or hepatoportoenterostomy) creates a path of bile flow from the liver into the intestine. Not a cure but enough to allow for a moderately normal lifestyle.
