Sport has tremendous physical, psychological and social benefits for the participants, particularly young people. WheelPower provides and promotes opportunities for thousands of children and young adults with disabilities to participate in recreational and competitive wheelchair sport and improve their quality of life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you will know, I am incredibly passionate about creating opportunities for disabled children and adults in sport and physical activities. I have had the pleasure of working with WheelPower in the past and have seen the incredible work that they do to make more happen for disability sport across the UK. This includes, but is not limited to FREE resistance bands, wheelchair slalom training kits, online exercise classes, excellent resources and a multitude of events and CPD that they provide.

Now, I’d love to give something back and I will be running the Great North Run for WheelPower in 2023 with the hope of raising at least £500 to support them. Please give anything that you can to support this fantastic cause.
