Durham Big Ride
Campaign by Durham Cathedral (RCN Exempt)
This September support Team Durham Cathedral, who are riding out to raise funds for the ongoing care and conservation of Durham Cathedral, woodlands and riverbanks.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm one of the residentiary canons of Durham Cathedral. The Cathedral is over 900 years old and is one of the nation’s best-loved and most beautiful buildings. Over 700,000 people visit every year to worship, create, explore and celebrate in this historic place. We serve the city of Durham, the people of the north east, our visitors from around the world and the mission and ministry of the Diocese of Durham.

On Sunday 18th September I'll be joining others from the Cathedral in 'The Beast', a 52 mile bike ride and part of the Durham Big Ride 2016. Your support helps us to care for the Cathedral, offer free entry for all and do our best to carry out God's work.

Thank you.

Durham Cathedral is unique. Prayer, worship and the welcome of visitors (around half a million each year) are the heart of what we do. We also care for a UNESCO World Heritage Site, improve the biodiversity of Durham's natural spaces, and bring people together to make a difference in the world.
