Race morning is here after super wedding in London and a 5 hour drive to Gareth and Cyrus's in Newcastle thanks all my sponsors we've so far raised £880 for NSPCC any further donations gratefully received - not long now....

Running the canal from Lowfields Elland tomorrow morning hoping to get 6 miles plus ......

Ten years after my first Great North Run I have decided to do it all again!

For those of you who know me, I'm not the fittest of specimens! I decided I wanted to get fit and thought that training for the Great North Run was a fantastic way to do it!

This time I have put in a little more training and will probably not stop off for a Mars Bar or an ice cream on the way round, but I can't guarantee anything!

I am delighted to be running in support of the NSPCC in order to help them continue their fabulous work across the country. Over the years I have had the pleasure of helping to raise over £1 million with my collegues at BHS for the NSPCC and know how much this support is needed and appreciated.
