Having seen first hand the incredible work that the Marie Curie nurses provide for families effected by cancer, Im trying to raise £500 to help support other families in need. If i reach my £500 target, im going to direct 'offline' donations to the VINE project, which you can read about via the following link. http://www.thevineproject.org.uk/

The event itself is at the site of the 1012 Olympic triathlon and this is the full Olympic distance (no more 'Sprint' events for me) which constitutes a mile swim in the serpentine, a 40km cycle around Hyde Park a few times, finished off with a 10km run (the painful part and my weakest event).
