Brighton Marathon 2015 · 12 April 2015 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

There comes a time in everyone's life when they feel they must do something for somebody else; be that buying the groceries, seeing a German expressionist dance act or simply run.

I have chosen the latter - 26.2 miles to be precise. I'm running in the Brighton Marathon on the 12th April in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.

Having lost two grandparents to the disease and seeing the effect it had on them and my family I feel that any amount of money raised will be valuable to anyone affected by this devastating disease every day.

So please donate. Big or small, whatever you can afford, and yes, I do look good in shorts.

Much Love
