We help people with mental health problems to have a better life

Story

Myself and my colleague (Andy Taylor) are taking on an Epic Adventure for Mental Health UK!

On Friday 1 October 2021, I will conquer 3 Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge (a 24-mile trek up and down the Yorkshire mountains of Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m)) to raise funds for our charity partner Mental Health UK.

This is going to be an enormous challenge and would love your support. Whatever donation you can make will help me reach our target and support young people’s mental health.

The funds raise go to Mental Health UK’s young people’s programme Bloom, which is helping young people across the UK to build resilience so they can better protect and maintain their mental health through life’s transitions. You can find out more about Bloom here

I'm particularly passionate about the importance of recognising poor mental health and supporting the growth of healthy minds in our young people.  I believe poor mental health in many adults can be rooted back to childhood.  It makes sense to me that early intervention is more effective than treating long term embedded problems in adults. Our young people are the future, if we look after the mental health in our young people then we have adults with better mental health.

Thank you for visiting my page and wish me luck :-)
