Story

Hi,

I’m Simon and thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley.

Sadly, I lost my father Geoff in February last year to brain cancer and have decided to run the Brighton Marathon 2023 on behalf of STCH and him.

Dad loved his sport, so what better way to raise money than incorporating sport itself.

The wonderful people at St Catherine’s cared for Dad and made him comfortable in his last days whilst also being there for us in what was truly a devastating time.

They are truly a wonderful charity and help so many people before, during and after the loss of a loved one and that’s why I have decided to run for them.

Like most charities STCH are in need of whatever funding they can get in these difficult times and I would really like to help them in whatever way I can.

Training is under way and 🤞 I do him proud.

Again, thank you for visiting the page.

Simon and Geoff
