So why am I doing this crazy thing? As many of you know I cycle lots of places, always in the name of saving a bit of money and being a bit healthier than if I didn't do it.

The furthest I've been thus far is Peckham (scary) and the closest is to the end of the road to get milk (silly). But I wanted to get out more and do something more adventurous, possibly an incentive to train more, and mostimportantly to do a bit for charity.

26 April:

I'm planning to do a bit of hill training whilst I'm off work this week. Currently going to do the final ride on my own, but if you know someone who is also doing it, can you let me know?

Oh, and trying to organise folks to come down to meet me at the finish and massage my legs back to life (email if you want to come too!)

I now have some people to come wave me off from Clapham really early in the morning. Thanks Colin :) and 'training' is going well in Hyde park.

Target surpassed and updated! new target £500, which I'm aming to meet by the end of the month. Cycled to Kew Gardens yesterday, not as far as I'd hoped (45 minutes not a patch on the 5 hours I'll be doing on the 19th)

Thanks folks, you're all amazing. Do you think it's ok to keep raising my target? Now aiming for £700 before the big day! Training going ok (although tummy bug over the weekend has slowed me down a little bit) and really geared up for it ;)
