I am running the London Marathon this year to raise funds for Heartline Families as they help a lot of families with children who have heart conditions such as my eldest daughter.

To give a bit of history about why I support Heartline, our eldest daughter Amelia was diagnosed with Dilated cardiomyopathy before she was born and given a very low chance of surviving birth but she proved everyone wrong and is now a very strong willed 8 year old and is growing stronger every day.

Heartline Families have helped us immensely, including supplying wetsuits for free to help Amelia go swimming as she can't regulate her body temperature in the water. 

Heartline Families offer free wetsuits to all members along with PGL weekends away for heart children and their siblings.

They also have two caravans, one in Lincolnshire and one just outside the New Forest, which they offer subsidised weeks away for members to allow them to go on cheap holidays and to help make memories for them with their heart children.

Any donations you make will help this great charity offer more to the families of children with heart conditions to help them make memories together.
