We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

Update: I have contacted several local coaches and clubs for help, and Tenny Turner of Turner's Boxing Academy was the first to respond - thanks Tenny! So Thursday nights will now be boxing coaching! Oh, what have I let myself in for?

I've also heard back from Queen Mary Sailing Club, and I've joined ParkRun to see if I can get running again after all these years! So now I just need a tennis coach (Wentworth Tennis Club hasn't responded to me yet) and a horse-riding teacher.

Why am I doing all this? Well, I am partially sighted, having been diagnosed with a genetic condition called retinitis pigmentosa in 2003, and I'm therefore raising funds for the RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) by taking part in the Gold Challenge: I have to complete 5 Olympic events before 31 December 2012! I know...MADNESS!

Please help me make this a success and support the RNIB.
