Race day was quite an experience. Very lucky with the weather and a fantastic atmosphere particularly going through the East End where everyone was out of pubs and churches high fiving the runners and offering sweets, orange quarters and biscuits! From 20 miles and on schedule, the wheels fell off slightly and I finished in 4.40. Happy to have run the whole way and to have finished with health intact, no lost toenails and no chafing injuries!
