I'm helping the Manta Trust to raise money by taking part in their Cross the Oceans 2021 challenge. I've pledged to run 150km in 30 days throughout June. That means I need to complete 5km each and every day!

I'm raising money for the Manta Trust because of the incredible work I know this group does. Our core team and all of our affiliate projects around the world are made up of devoted, kind scientists, media makers, divers and conservationists many of whom work many hours a year for no pay driven only by their passion.

Oceanic manta rays, which I have a vested interest in through my research project are now listed as Endangered along with six other species of mobula rays. Their fate is bleak and their continued survival will be hugely impacted by the work people like the Manta Trust team.
