My name is Simon Griffiths, I've been a Porsche owner for eleven years and a keen cyclist for just over a year. When the Porsche Club Region 5 adopted The Christie at Macclesfield for 2021, I started looking at how I could support them with my own interests. After browsing through their website I decided to enter the Manchester - Blackpool cycle ride. Enough of a challenge to stretch myself, but not an impossible task. It's 100 km from Salford Quays to the finish under the Glitter Ball on Blackpool front, at least the Lycra won't look out of place....

On as serious note, there can't be many of us who haven't been touched in some way by cancer, My mum passed away from cancer and was cared for in Macclesfield. So the opportunity to raise money for Christie's , who are building a new facility there , as well as the research they do made this an easy decision to make.

If anyone would be willing to sponsor me in this endeavour, I, and Christie's would be most grateful.

Now, if I could just track down one of those Porsche branded bikes that'd be super!
