My final event is the challenging 100k "Lakeland Monster" on Sunday 16th October. I have already completed two events - a short 28k 'test' event on Saturday 14th May, coming 11th out of 60 riders, and the 75k "Peak District Pioneer" on Sunday 10th July. 

I thought some good should come out of this sudden mid-life crisis(!) so I am going to be riding for Cancer Research UK in memory of my lovely brother in-law - Slavo Kvasai - who passed away from cancer.

So, please get behind this great charity, whilst having a good laugh at my expense!! Simon xx
