We raise funds to support The Walton Centre in Liverpool

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are raising money for the Walton Centre for Neurology in Liverpool where Nick Wilson was treated after a serious road accident.

Nick was hit by a car whilst out running near his home in Spital in September 2014.  He suffered very serious head injuries and spent several weeks in the Walton Centre including many days under induced coma.  Amazingly, and despite a setback in January, Nick has now made a full recovery.

Nick's favourite race is the annual Adidas Thunder Run (TR24) - a 24 hour 10k trail relay race for teams of up to 8 at Catton Park in Derbyshire. It is a tribute to the work done at the Walton Centre that, against the odds, once again Nick will be able to captain a team of Wirral AC runners at this year's event!

Please give generously to this worthy cause!
