Story

Thanks for visiting my page. I am running the Dublin and London Marathons to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK and specifically in memory of my Father in Law, James Leamy who fought a five year battle against this disease. James died in May 2010 and is greatly missed.

If detected early the disease is highly treatable yet today bowel cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death. Your donation will help raise awareness and support the 37,000 people diagnosed with bowel cancer every year.

The first photo is of me and my youngest son in early training in the Gravity Bar at Guinness HQ Dublin the second Photo is of James.

I am hoping to complete at least one of the marathons in 4 hours. I will keep you posted.

Cheers

Simon
