THE LAKELAND 55KM… AKA MY BIGGEST CHALLENGE EVER!

This event won’t just be my longest run to date, and it isn’t just a 55km ultramarathon. It will be 12 hours of pain, covering THREE mountain passes with 7,000 ft ascent (sounds better in imperial) through the Lake District.

All that suffering deserves a sponsorship right? Last time we managed to raise a lovely £550 for Alzheimer's. This year I’m raising the bar not just physically but financially too. I’m aiming for £1000… and I’ve chosen a local charity which is making a genuine difference in the community.

Your money will go towards Mustard Tree, who combat poverty and prevent homelessness by providing work experience and valuable employment skills, whilst also supplying low cost food, furniture and other essentials to those truly in need.

Times are tough right now for all of us, so just imagine how hard it is for the most vulnerable in our society. They need our help more now than ever!
