A huge Thank-you from Chris any myself for your support, encouragement and pledges over the past few months for the BHF Way of the Roses cycle ride. Special thanks to all the Facebook followers who left us kind and witty messages of support during the ride. They really helped keep us smiling, sane and distracted from the aches, pains and saddle sore!
We arrived at our destination yesterday afternoon at 3pm after pounding 170+ miles from the West to East coast. It was well worth it for the Fish and Chips and Ice Cream at Bridlington!
We are very close to our target and if you haven’t yet donated and would like to please . Anything at all would help us attain our aim of £700.
*****Huge thanks to our latest pledger and supporter who added..."I'll support any worthy cause spesh when me work mates are slogging their guts out raising the dosh and believe me you won't be able to put your bum's down for a while after!!!" ........................Thanks Jac!x*****
*****Just also wanted to add a big Thank-you to Sharon Mearns for playing a huge part in offering to pick the both of us up (and our bikes of course) from our end point @ Bridlington on Sunday eve. A real help!*****
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and supporting us on our 2 day coast to coast ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. This is a charity we feel passionate in helping as heart issues can effect a family in profoundly negative ways and we have had first hand experience of this.
So in the name of charity we will be starting on the west coast at Morecambe early on Saturday 14th May and we will be riding 95miles to Northallerton where we will break for the night.
Sunday 15th we will set off from Northallerton and head to York to join the route and make our way to the East coast at Bridlington. The total distance is just over 190 miles.
All your support is appreciated and thanks again for visiting our page.
