So you'll probably be aware that my dad passed away last year after a long fight with cancer. In his last couple of weeks, he moved in to the Marie Curie hospice in Elswick, Newcastle. They provided really amazing care to him in such lovely surroundings. When i went to see him there, he'd come to terms with what was happening and was happy he was where he was. I couldn't have asked for more than that given the circumstances, so i'm eternally grateful for the service that Marie Curie provided and continue to provide to other families in a similar situation. 

In an effort to shed the lockdown tits, me and my brother set ourself the target of running the Bath Half and we figured it makes for a good opportunity to raise a few quid to support the amazing work that Marie Curie do. 

So please, donate a few quid and i'll run round Bath for a couple of hours on what is probably going to be far too hot a day for running, all in the memory of my old man.
