Story
Hello Everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you know I lost my wife Annette, on the 6th April 2013 when she died in my arms at St Catherine's Hospice in West Sussex.
I want to do something that honours Annette, by making a difference to other people's lives, because she did. I wanna do something that makes me feel brave, because she did. And I want to do something that people don't think is possible, because thats the spirit of the family Annette and I made together.
April will be a tough month and I gotta tell you that this run is part of helping me get through it as positively as possible.
You're probably wondering one of two things at this point: "how do I look supportive when I see Si and not laugh at the thought of him waddling over Tower Bridge?" or the slightly less mean "why isn't he raising money for his own charity the Beyond Food Foundation?" Well Annette's final weeks were spent at St Catherine's and those guys were so great to us. As with all hospices they believe each person is more than their illness and I want to say thank you. In turn help them give such personal care to others like us.
Thanks for supporting me in doing this, it's going to be very tough. I know some of you reading this miss Annette so much, so I'll do the run for you too. Please give what you can, I appreciate your support very much.
