For a long time, very little was understood about Tinnitus; what caused it, and what coud be done about it.  Recent research has helped alot but more needs to be done if effective treatments are to be developed.

Viv has always suffered with tinnitus, but her symptoms worsened significantly last year.  We have since discovered loads of other people we know that also suffer.  It is thought that as many as 1 in 10 of the population are affected to some degree.
