Now in its 3rd year, the 24hr Simulator race will take place on the 4th and 5th of March 2017.
This year's event is a very special one as we dedicate it (and rename it) in loving memory of young William Brannon.
William was our guest of honour at the 2016 event but was sadly taken from us just days after his 9th birthday in late April this year.
William along with Mum and Dad Natalie and Mick joined us at the 2016 event courtesy of our close friend Baz Firth (MBE!!) from the utterly amazing Sporting Bears!
FACT: Brain Tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer. Despite this,Brain Tumour research receives just 2% of all cancer research funding!!
The fine folks at The Brain Tumour Charity are desperately trying to change these statistics and we are going to help them.
HOW?
Working with the brilliant folks at The Race Hut (www.theracehut.com), we will be starting the virtual engines on all 16 of their professional racing car simulators to race for 24hr solid while piloting some top flight automotive weaponry.
Professional racing drivers from some of the top racing teams in the UK will join rank amateurs and pro gamers alike to fight it out on the most challenging circuit in the world for 24 hours solid.
WHAT Can you do?
1) Money. Please donate as much as you can afford, literally every penny counts. Thank you for making a difference.
2) Stuff. Donate to our charity auction. Tickets, gadgets, experiences, anything and everything that we can auction off to help raise funds.
3) Time. Get involved in the actual event! Come on down and join a team officially or just pop in and have ago in a car for a while. We would love to see you for moral support, delivering food/booze to the teams or just come and laugh at the lunacy of it all.
4th of March 2017 is the date to save, see you then and THANK YOU again for all of your help and support.
