Story
If anyone knows us at all, they will know that we talk ALOT, so this is going to be a huge challenge for us! However, speech is something we all take for granted; singing, laughing, moaning and gossiping. Me and Emma do it all. However for somebody like Emma’s dad, Nick, living with MSA, this becomes difficult. Imagine the thought of not being able to express yourself vocally. So if you can donate anything at all, it will be greatly appreciated and will go towards valuable research.
Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a progressive neurological disorder that affects adult men and women.
It is caused by degeneration or atrophy (shrinking) of nerve cells in several (or multiple) areas of the brain. This can result in problems with multiple bodily functions such as speech, movement, balance and blood pressure control.
MSA Trust (the Trust) receives no Government support and relies entirely on charitable donations to fund our support services as well as research into finding the cause and cure for multiple system atrophy (MSA). Your gift, no matter how big or small, will always make a difference to the MSA community.
