We fund lifesaving research to tackle heart and circulatory diseases

Story

Team Valhalla are taking on the London to Brighton off road cycle to: Ride together, have fun, and make some money for the British Heart Foundation, who work around the clock supporting research and initiatives to help those who suffer from heart diseases. It's a real honour to be able to do this together, and we look forward to seeing you all at the finish line!

You see BHF fund research into heart and cardiovascular diseases. And its something that could affect the us all whatever we do in life.

And what better way of helping than in a non-serious cycling way. Its almost 100km with 1500m climbing. It's off road. And that means guaranteed fun for anyone cycling near me. Because I can't ride bikes off road. I can ride them on a trainer (0 falls in 2 years). I can almost ride them solo on a road (3 falls in 10 years, all due to not unclipping). I cannot ride off road (fall on every outing so far for every reason possible). And if I can make people laugh, connect with people I've met "virtually" through Zwift,  all while raising money for a great cause then in my view it's worth every moment on the bike.

Whilst the cause is so very serious, the fund raising won't be.

Stretch Goal 1 - Video of me eating carrot cake will be posted at the finish line ❤
