Event: Gear 10k run in Kings Lynn, on 30 April 2023
Make the QEH more dementia-friendly and enhance our patients' stay. Help us improve the experience of our patients living with dementia with specialist equipment, new activities, specialist therapies such as exercise therapy & creative activities.

Story

I am a member of King's Lynn's 'Your Choir' who under our musical director Mike Tandy do what they can to raise funds for local charities. They are singing at the GEAR10k race on SUNDAY 30th April and I am running for QEH dementia care.  I hope you can help me to make a small contribution towards a worthy cause.  The charity aims to make the QEH more dementia-friendly in order to enhance patients' stay in the hospital. I do this in memory of my mother Nancy who died of vascular dementia at 78 and thinking of my 93 yr old father Sid who lives with Alzheimers and no longer recognises his family.
