Story

I'm choosing to lose something I love for a short time to help raise money and awareness for Christians who have lost everything because of their faith in Jesus. Christians around the world have lost family, home, friends, safety and freedom because of their love of Jesus.

Please sponsor me as I give up something I love to help raise money for essential aid, support and help.

Week 1 - Anything that doesn’t fit in my bag. I have 5 mins to pack a bag and will only be able to have those things for the first week of lent. Many of our persecuted family have minutes to gather their belongings before they flee their homes.

Week 2 - many of you know how much I love coffee. This week I am choosing to loose coffee.

Week 3 - TV and iPad this week I’m loosing my iPad and TV.

Week 4 - my car this week I’m loosing my car

Week 5 - my phone this week I’m loosing my phone (I’ll still be able to use it for emergencies)

Week 6 - A mystery challenge set by my home group.

Pradip*, a Hindu teenager from Nepal, mocked his sister for becoming a Christian. But then he visited a church with a friend, and that same night he saw a flash of intense light in his room. Confused, he started looking for answers, which he eventually found in Jesus. For Pradip, it was a winning choice, even though it meant being disowned by his parents, kicked out of home and forced to leave their village. Pradip, like many others, knows that choosing Jesus means losing much. Please sponsor me and help me raise vital funds to support and encourage young Christians like Pradip!
