Hello lovely, lovely friends and family,

So, the story goes like this...

A few months back whilst taking a very leisurely stroll along the South Bank, it occured to me that I'd quite like a dip in the crystal clear waters of the River Thames.  Imagine my delight when I discovered that I could actually swim in the Thames, for a mile, for fun!  I signed up on the spot, forced two of my very special friends to join me and the rest is history. 

I am risking life, limb and cholera to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.  Macmillan aim to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer. They provide practical, medical and financial support to anyone who needs it and are constantly pushing for better cancer care.  

Please donate if you can and if you fancy a laugh, do come and watch me swimming/drowning in the "cleanest river in Europe" on the 2nd July.
