We support families after a death on duty to help rebuild their shattered lives

Story

From Sick to Strong

A few short weeks ago, my incredible Coach, Matt, died suddenly, aged just 39. It has been a devastating loss to his family and many friends.

In 2018, Matt introduced me to strength training which in turn restored my health, my confidence and my self worth!

Since he died, gym life has been a lot tougher for me and I became really lost.

Earlier this year, I qualified for the Worlds again. We had plans. We set goals. However since he died I've seriously considered not competing. Not feeling I had the strength to do it without him.

But he wouldn't have accepted me quitting. So I won't accept me quitting either!

On 13th November, I intend to go to the Worlds and compete in Coach's memory. I'm hoping to Smash some big numbers, but whatever the outcome I'm doing it for him. And of course I'm doing it for me too whilst paying tribute to the incredible transformation he brought to my life.

I've chosen to raise money in Matt's memory for COPS, a  charity close to his heart.

I'm hugely grateful to everyone for donating and getting behind me. Thank you ❤
