20 years ago I lost my mum to pancreatic cancer. This is a cancer people haven't really heard about and there is very little funding for research. It has the lowest survival rate of all cancers and the survival rate of 3% has not improved in 40 years. It causes 5% of cancer deaths but only gets 1% of the funding.

The charity Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is trying to change all that and I am privileged to have been given one of their charity places in the BUPA London 10k. I need to raise a minimum of £150 so I would be really grateful if you could sponsor me and help take a step towards improved survival rates for pancreatic cancer.
