Our very own ‘tough guy’, Darren/DJ/Deej, faced his final challenge with immense dignity and courage.

Ultimately, cancer was a battle that even he could not conquer. In his short time at The Hospice of St Francis he entertained all the wonderful staff with his stories of adventure and his deep love and pride of his family. The empathy, positivity, time and care given by everyone at The Hospice of St Francis was incredible.  

However you remember him – family, friend, colleague, coach or team-mate – please do so with a smile. We all miss him with every heartbeat.

This kind of care should always be available. In Darren’s memory,  we would be delighted with any donations to help St Francis continue their amazing work.
