Story
Hi everyone,
On the 18th of September I'm embarking on a bit of an adventure by joining a group of complete strangers and treking 80km of The Great Wall of China. (the whole 4000 miles would have been a bit too much!)
As most of you will realise for me this is a massive personal challenge as currently I can't jog for more than five minutes! I'm going to be putting in alot of training to prepare for this and would really appreciate everyones support.
If it isn't enough to inspire you to sponsor me that I'm going to be walking really steep inclines and declines for 8 hours every day for 5 days and sleeping in tents in random chinese villages with people I've never met... I'm also going to have no shower, hair straigtners or mobile phone :o/
Seriously though I have never done anything like this before and I'm very scared (but excited) and I'll be forever thankful for your support as I take up this challenge.
I've chosen Parkinsons UK as my charity as one of my very bestest friends (Mark Beresford) Mum has Parkinsons and so I'd like to support this brilliant charity.
For more infomation on the invaluable work Parkinsons UK do, please visit their website.
Thank you so so much for supporting me
