Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my justgiving page.
It was great to see the London Marathon back to almost normal this October (2021). Hopefully the weather will be just as good when I finally get my 2020 run done in October 2022. The plus for me is summer training - much better than endless winter.
By taking on this challenge I am running at a rate of 1 marathon each decade, which I think my aging body can cope with...
I have always supported the Severn Hospice or Macmillan when running and the Severn Hospice provided invaluable support to my mother in law Liz when she had terminal cancer and the support they give to people with the illness and their families at difficult times is truly amazing.
I am very grateful for any donation you are able to make to support me in hopefully exceeding my fundraising objectives or / and my running.
If you'd like to have a look at planned events, do please check out my dedicated FB group http://bit.ly/SevernHospiceAuctions
Thank you, Nick
More on the Severn Hospice..
Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you.For every £1 you donate, they will spend 86p directly on care - and use the remaining 14p to make another £1.Last year, all those individual donations helped us provide £9.88 million of caring services.Thank you - you're amazing!
