Led by people with experience of disability, we are at the heart of local life - opening doors to opportunity, choice and support in communities around the globe.Leading by example, we do everything humanly possible to empower people to live their lives a freely and as fully as they choose.

I am running to raise funds for the Isle of Man branch. As many of you will know our family have first hand experience of what living with a disability means, and it has made me realise how much we take our independence for granted. Leonard Cheshire is all about empowering individuals whatever their disability, hidden or visible, to lead independent and fulfilling lives. 

I started running just over 3 years ago as a means of getting fit and ran my first 5k in September 2016. Since then I have run 3 half marathons and I ran my first full marathon in April this year. The challenge of a marathon shouldn’t be underestimated and takes commitment and lots of training. I hope you will support me and donate to this wonderful cause.
