Thanks for taking an interest in my fundraising page for Macmillan Cancer Support. Especially since everyone was so generous on my first attempt in 2019. Sadly, the weather then meant that our route was impassable and so the Hike was cancelled at the very last minute (I mean it - we were in the car park!).  After careful consideration over a warm breakfast, we decided to improvise and, like many others, took to the shores of Loch Leven near Kinross [twice round is roughly the equivalent of the Mighty Hike route]. My teammates were only able to do one circuit due to the time, but as I live close by, I decided to complete the walk that evening, whilst they took to the streets and gyms near them. We all successfully racked up the correct distance but felt we'd missed out on the atmosphere of the official walk - so we've decided to give it a go again in 2020 - which was cancelled due to Covid. 

The funds raised so far include the kind donations and support from all my wonderful family, friends, colleagues and neighbours. I'm hoping to add to that, even by just a little this year,  without shaking the collection jar at those who have already supported so generously (I raised over £500 and the team total well exceeded our target of £1250).
