Story
My mate Luke was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in July 2020 and is currently being treated at UCLH, where he has been receiving wonderful care. So, as part of Team Leukathon UK, I am running a half-marathon this October to raise money for UCLH’s blood cancer charity, Haematology Cancer Care.
Any donation, however big or small, will go exclusively to supporting Haematology Cancer Care and will give Luke a great boost. If you're not in a position to donate financially, why not give some thought to registering as a blood donor with NHS - Give Blood? The NHS needs 400 new donors a day just to keep up with demand. The generosity of people just like you who donate blood has made Luke's treatment to date possible! Register to donate at: https://www.blood.co.uk
