I'm riding 250 miles from London to Paris to raise funds for WMUK, the only UK charity dedicated to Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia. I was instrumental in founding this charity some 10 years ago and am proud of the doctor-patient partnership that is at the heart of the charity. WMUK is developing fast and has clear strategy to support patients and families affected by WM. Information and support is crucial for those affected by this rare condition as I witness every week in our specialist clinic at University College London Hospitals.
