Yey! You've done the first step and clicked the link! Firstly thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I know you're a nice person by coming just that far! But don't stop now read on!
After three years of running I've finally decided to take up the challenge and run the London Marathon. Well actually I'm going to be doing the London Triathlon as well, all in the name of charity I might add! The furthest I've run this far is the Run To The Beat Half Marathon Sept 2009, I was dressed as a banana, but still managed 2:23!
Those of you that know me personally will know I am a strong believer in equality and as such I have chosen to run for Scope. Scope's vision is a world where disabled people have the same opportunities to fulfil their life ambitions as non-disabled people. Their purpose is to drive the changes that will make our society the first in which disabled people are able to realise their full civil liberties and human rights. I believe in the work that they are doing and I hope you will support them by donating on my page.
UPDATE 26-02-10
Now, because I'm really passionate about this cause I've decided to go a little further than just running the London Marathon & London Triathlon. I am committed to running 10 Half Marathons over 2010 as well! This is going to be an exciting journey for me! Roll on 2010!
