The chosen Captains Charity for this this year at Sherwood
Forest Golf Club is Breathe Easy. It is a local charity that is affiliated to
The British Lung Foundation and raises funds for medical research into all
aspects of lung disease. The charity aims to promote and develop a feeling of
well-being for those living with a breathing problem.

We have set up a ‘Just Giving page’ for this years Captains
Charity. Breathe Easy are a local charity with the Mansfield/Ashfield group
having been set up in 1992. It is affiliated to The British Lung Foundation and
raises funds for medical research into all aspects of lung disease. The charity
aims to promote and develop a feeling of well-being for those living with a
breathing problem. We thought that this was particularly pertinent given the
symptoms experienced with those who have contracted Covid-19 with the
lungs/breathing being hard hit. There are also longer term issues with
‘Long-Covid’.

Both Captains have had close relatives who have suffered
with lung disease so it is something that it close to our hearts. Please help
us to help others.
