Story
Just over 4 years ago (Yes, that long) we had the most nerve wracking holiday possible. Rach was in labour at 29 weeks (2 and a half months early) with Beatrix. While it was a bit of a whirlwind, we found ourselves in the best place possible, Beatrix was born at 3lb1oz. We had no idea what to expect with having a child, this was not the way we had imagined it.
150 miles away from home, we were in Stockton-On-Tees for over a week before being transferred back to Lincoln. There we spent another month going to the hospital as Beatrix got stronger. Everyone at both Stockton Hospital and Lincoln Hospital were great, they both have local charities that support them both individually but Bliss was a national Charity that was present.
I am doing this stream as I've wanted to do something but never decided on what. Mass Effect is an amazing game which I loved playing back in 2009, when they announced a remastered version I was going to do a complete play through. What better time to go through the game and raise money for charity. I aim to complete the first game and get started on the 2nd within the 24 hours.
Please check out the stream and follow Shepard on her journey and help me stay awake to complete the challenge!
Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. We rely on donations to fund our work but with one baby admitted to neonatal care every five minutes we dont have the resources to reach every baby. We need help to support the already stretched NHS to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to 100,000 families with a baby in neonatal care each year. Tomorrow, more than 300 babies will be admitted to neonatal care. I'm gaming for Bliss to ensure these babies get the best care.
