Story

Our family had an amazing day last year during the huge relay for life event ! The Isle of Man raised a huge amount of money from all the teams involved and everyone who donated. Our family was overwhelmed after we raised over £6000 ! This was double our target and we couldn’t have done it without everyone who supported our fundraising so thank you.

We decided to do relay for life after our Dad (brother, cousin, grandad, uncle, nephew, friend!) was diagnosed with lung cancer in December 2022. Throughout the year after dad being diagnosed we have seen the impact this money has on all of those who have been affected by cancer, the treatment and care is improving and the outcomes are getting better !

We hope to raise more money this year, it truly is a fantastic event and raises so much money for a great charity.

As well as bringing everyone together who has somehow been affected cancer.

We really hope we can gain the same amount of support this year and we have raised our target from £3000 last year to £5000 this year!

Thank you !

Team Crowe

Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising to make breakthroughs happen. Across the UK and the globe, teams of friends and family fundraise for world-leading cancer research. Then, we unite as a collective at a weekend-long festival to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’re making. Together, we remember loved ones and celebrate the tomorrow’s made possible. Together we are beating cancer. How does the money you raise make a difference? When you fundraise for Relay For Life, we fund long-term research. And when we fund long-term research, we make more discoveries. Over time, these discoveries make giant strides towards a world where everyone lives longer, better lives free from the fear of cancer.
