Fundraising for The Myton Hospices
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Most people who know me know I enjoy running and take part in lots of races. The next race I’m taking part in is the Warwick half on the 7th March but this time I want to raise money for Myton Hospice. Myton is a charity funded service that provides care for the terminally ill.
Unfortunately my dear Mum was diagnosed with terminal Stage 4 metastasis Lung Cancer on New Years Eve after having a niggling cough over the last few months that was missed by doctors due to Covid restricting patient visits. For someone who is fit and healthy it’s come as a complete shock to us all.
After a couple of tough weeks in hospital my Mum was then transferred to Myton Hospice in Coventry and I’m overwhelmed with the care, love and support the staff provide.
Mum is now home but I will be eternally grateful for everything Myton has done and continue do for other families so I want to raise money for this charity.

Myton have to raise £7.8 million this year to continue providing care.They can’t do it without people like you.
