Story

Thanks for your visiting our Dogs Trust Doggy Paddle Challenge page.

We wanted to take on a challenge that will combine a love of swimming with a love of dogs. Shep came from Dogs Trust Shoreham in 2021 after spending two years being looked after by the team there. He had a few issues from an unknown past and it took him a long time to find a new home but they cared for him so well. We'd like to raise some money to thank Dogs Trust and make sure they can offer the same for all the other dogs in their care, as well as continue all their great policy work to stop dogs ending up in rescue in the first place!

None of us are brilliant swimmers but we're hoping to get to 22 miles between us during August & September. As a relay team, we will be swimming individually (and sometimes in pairs) in pools and quarries and lochs. We'll post updates as we go!

Every donation made, large or small, will help more dogs find their forever home from Dogs Trust rescue centres, as well as looking out for the welfare of all dogs, in the UK and abroad.
